10 Halloween Happenings

It’s that time of the year where we pull out our Pumpkin Spice everything, that’s right, even the dog food. It’s also the time of the year where we like to go above and beyond to try to give ourselves heart attacks with all the fright and fears we face for entertainment purposes.

For those of you who like to partake in these types of activites I’ve taken the time to compile a list of ten events going on, or near, Clarksville, TN in the spirit of Halloween.

#1 Haunted Hell Clarksville

Category: Haunted House

Location: 1770 Madison Street Clarksville, TN 37043

Info: General admission tickets are $18.00 (can be purchased online, at door, by either cash or credit card). If you want to forego the line you can purchase Speed Passes for $28.00. Open Friday-Saturday through Halloween, plus October 22, 29, 30, and of course Halloween day, October 31st. Doors open at 7:00pm.

#2 Clarksville Zombie Hunters

Category: Multi-attraction

Info: Prices vary. Clarksville Zombie Hunters hosts 8 different attractions! Zombie Paintball Hayride, Zombie Mission, Shooting Gallery, Deaths Door-Escape Game, Movies at the Hunt, “Speed Bus” escape game, Dark Maze, and Pedal Carts. #3 Scream Creek Haunted Woods at Honeysuckle Hill Farm

Info: Prices Vary. Ticket booth opens 6pm-11pm. New for 2017 they have added Monster Midway (6:30pm) and 3D Circus of Terror (7:00pm) in addition to their annual Haunted Woods (7:30pm). For more information on each one of these attractions please visit their website.

#4 Bell Witch Cave

#5 Biker Who Scare

Category: Haunted House / Charity

Location: 607 North 1st Street Clarksville, TN

Info: Admission is $15 per person and all proceeds benefit Bikers Who Care children’s charities. Their 15th Annual Haunted House is held every Friday and Saturday, as well as Halloween day, Tuesday October 31st.

#6 Fright On Franklin

Category: Event

Location: Franklin Street, downtown Clarksville

Info:  Fun entertainment for the entire family with trick-or-treating down Franklin street to a costume contest.  Held Saturday October 28 from 3-6pm.

#7 Port Royal By Lantern

Category: Historic Park

Location: 3300 Old Clarksville Highway Adams, TN 37010

Info: Tours start at 6:00pm and run every twenty minutes, with the last tour leaving at 9:00pm. It’s highly recommended that reservations be made and you can do so on their website. Admission is $6.00 per person and free for children 5 and under.

#8 Zombie Chase Race

Category: Event

Location: Liberty Park

Info: October 28th, 8:00am, come costume ready for this 3.1 mile course for all ages and activity levels. Admission is $35 per person and registration is available on their website. A costume contest will take place as well.

#9 Halloween at Fort Defiance

Category: Historic

Location: Fort Defiance Civil Park and Interpretive Center

Info: On October 27th from 6:00-8:00pm be ready to gather around the fire with hot dogs and hot chocolate while listening to haunting historical tales of terror. Recommended for ages 8+. Did I mention it’s FREE ADMISSION!

#10 Haunted Swim

Category: Event
